Hydro Power Project, Thoubal, Manipur
The Thoubal multipurpose project is planned to harness the perennial water of Thoubal River for creation of irrigation facility, water supply facility and hydro-power generation.
This project has been included in the Prime Minister's special economic package and monitored by the central government. The construction of spillway & Intake portion of the project was awarded to Ansals by the Irrigation & Flood Control Department of Govt. of Manipur.
